Clinical Fellow/Registrar in Anaesthetics & ICU – Gibraltar
An opportunity is now available for a doctor with a minimum of 2 years training in Anaesthetics, and experience in Intensive Care Medicine, to take up a 6- or 12-month fixed term contract in Gibraltar.
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory, located at the southern tip of Spain and enjoys a Mediterranean climate. With a population around 34,000 there is one main hospital, and the healthcare model is closely linked to the UK NHS system.
GMC Registration and a current license to practise is required, however applicants for this post from outside of the UK who have appropriate qualifications and proof of English language proficiency may be eligible to up to two years exemption from GMC registration.
The total remuneration is £73,257.00 per annum with income tax currently at 20-25% in Gibraltar. In addition, a rented accommodation allowance of £500 is payable, solely whilst on a fixed term contract and upon submission of an official rental agreement and UK economy class flights are paid in full. The successful applicant will also be eligible for up to 10 days per annum study leave with a single overseas course fully funded per year.
