This is a great GP position in Australia with a well-established, GP owned group of 4 practices in Adelaide.  It is a collaborative team with a mixture of GPs including Australians, Brits and Irish with a priority of providing great patient care. Having visited the practices it was impressive how well they ran and the obvious camaraderie between the staff.

  • Earn $300k plus per year

The Practice

Family, GP owned group of practices are looking for MRCGP qualified, or equivalent, Doctors to join the team.

The practices are mainly mixed billing clinics offering a range of primary care services. They are ever increasing the number of chronic disease appointments and utilising nursing staff to assist doctors with care plans.

A great team of doctors alongside nursing staff and allied health run by the Practice Manager and Business Manager creates a supportive and fun working environment.

Working hours are between 8.30am – 5.30pm however there is flexibility to suit your family needs.  You will see between 4 – 6 patients per hour.  There is mentoring and support available when you arrive and throughout your contract. 

You will be offered 65% of billings with a minimum hourly guarantee initially.  It is a 2 year contract and the average income for doctors in the practice is over $300k AUD with the potential to earn more with care plans and chronic disease patients.

The Location

This practice is a 30 minute drive from Adelaide's CBD. It is in a well established suburb with access to good shopping facilities, parks and schools. There are a large selection of public and private schools close by. The region is a great area for families as everything you need is within about 1/2 hour drive.  Two major public hospitals are located about 15 minutes away. Large shopping centres and sporting facilities are all around. Wineries are also an easy drive away.

Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and has a population of 1.25 million people. It is also Australia’s fifth largest city and is nestled on the South Coast of Australia.  Adelaide is consistently listed in the Top 10 of the Economist’s world’s most liveable cities.  This elegant city is known for its colonial stone architecture, expansive park lands, incredible sense of space plus it’s lively festivals and food culture. 

With 3 Universities it has a busy, cosmopolitan city centre. Beautiful beaches on your doorstep mean you can swim with dolphins and learn to sail at Glenelg, one of the city’s best beaches which is lined with cafes and restaurants. Be a regular visitor to the famous McLaren Vale wine region and enjoy all the benefits of living in a Mediterranean climate surrounded by the Adelaide’s beautiful rolling green hills. With Sydney ranking as the most expensive Australian city and Adelaide as number 6, GPs will be able to live an excellent standard of living, pay less for your property and save (or spend) more than you could in most of the other main cities.
