I have been approached to find three full-time anaesthetics practitioners for an NHS hospital in Edinburgh for the next six months. These roles would suit either an ODP or RN with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience. It is vital that you are already registered with the HCPC or NMC and are eligible to work in the UK. You must be proficient in working in anaesthetics for colorectal and urology lists.
- This is an exceptional offer for locum staff. It is very rare to be given the assurance that you have regular work for six months.
- You would still be paid your locum rate and accrue holiday pay.
- Shifts are from 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, and there will also be some twilight, weekend and on-call requirements. If you live more than 30 minutes away from the hospital they can arrange an on-call room. If you are required to work at the weekend you would get days off during the week.
- I can consider job shares, particularly if you are interested in covering the weekends and on-call.
If you or anyone you know would like to know more, please get in touch. Don't forget our referral scheme. You can earn £250 for recommending a friend to us, once they have worked 50 hours for Head Medical.
