The Role
We’re recruiting for a GP to join this long established family owned clinic on the outskirts of Brisbane.
It’s mixed billing and has a predominantly younger patient base (50% under the age of 15 with 10% over the age of 65). They bulk bill children under the age of 10.
They have a purpose built premises with 5 consulting rooms and a 3 bed treatment room, they are fully computerised and have full time nursing support who assist with care plans. They also have an on site mole scanner, visiting dietician, obstetrician and audiologist. There is a pharmacy close by. They aren't looking for any particular special interests but if you enjoy caring for children and have a skin cancer interest this would be advantageous.
They carry a charge of $67.00 for a standard consultation. The doctors see on average 35 patients per day and appointments are booked at 15 minutes.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday – 8am to 6.30pm, Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm.
Saturday shifts are on a shared roster which is currently 1:6.

To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP/CCT/MICGP/FRACGP or equivalent.

A growing area near the coast 40 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD.

Brisbane has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and dry, mild winters – perfect for enjoying the Queensland outdoors lifestyle.
