GPs required for large modern practice in Melbourne

The Role
This is a modern purpose built multi-disciplinary centre located in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The practice is non-corporate and is ran like a traditional family practice. It’s been established for 20 years and has a very established patient base.
Currently there are 20 GPs working from the clinic however there are never more than 10 working at one time as many of the GPs work part time or after hours. They are well supported by an experienced team of receptionists, nurses and practice manager. They have a comprehensive AHP team including Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Dietician and Diabetes Educator. They also have Specialists including Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Gastroenterologist and Neurologist. There is also onsite x-ray and Ultra sound.
GPs here can be as busy as they want, with some GPs seeing 35 patients per day to others who see up to 60. Appointments are booked at 10 minute appointments.
Opening hours are 7 days 8am to 10pm. Working hours are fairly flexible although you would be required to work one evening to 8pm per week and share of weekend work which is usually 1:4.
The clinic already has other UK GPs working here so you will be well supported with your transition.

- 70% billings during after hours
- Bulk billings
- 2 year contract with a view to extend
- $100 ph minimum hourly guarantee for the first 3 months.
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP / CCT / FRACGP or equivalent.

Located in a busy shopping precinct in the western area of Melbourne, just 30 mins drive from the CBD.
