The Location
This city is the beating heart of one of Western Australia's vibrant regions. The Role
This is a critical and senior role for the regional Health Service. It has lots of scope in terms of geographical reach as well as the scopel for you to really make an impact in mental health in the region which has a higher usage of mental health services between both genders then the rest of the state of Western Australia. Working closely with the RMMH you will ensure that all clinical work is done in accordance with the Mental Health Act and associated frameworks, policy etc. You will undertake psychiatric assessments, diagnosis and treatment to ensure best practise treatment is provided at all times to the health service's clients. You will also be expected to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, especially GPs, to ensure the continuity of psychiatric care in the region is maintained.
