The Role
- We are seeking experienced Anaesthetists, with cardiothoracic and TOE experience, for fixed term full time positions for 12 months
- You must have the ability to anaesthetise for major head and neck surgery
- Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) is NZ’s largest public hospital operating from three sites – Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Health and Greenlane Clinical Centre
- The Greenlane Department of Cardiothoracic and ORL Anaesthesia, based at Auckland City Hospital provides anaesthesia services to New Zealand's largest cardiothoracic surgical unit for a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures, and tertiary otorhinolaryngology procedures
- The hospitals have an active TOE (including 3D TOE), transplant, and mechanical support services
- In addition the department is involved with registrar and fellow training and has an active research program
