Staff Christmas Party December 2010

Read what some of our staff have to say about working at Head Medical:

I took a leap of faith in early 2011, leaving a senior HR role in the NHS to join the team at Head Medical – I spoke with Anna about the job and it just ticked all the boxes for me, it was really too good an opportunity to miss and I’m really glad I made the move. I get to talk about the benefits of living and working in New Zealand and offer Consultant Doctors a new way of life, which is really rewarding, from a personal perspective since I‘m a Kiwi myself. I’m a bit of a night owl too, so calling Clients in New Zealand in the evenings is no problem, it just gives me more time to speak with candidates during the day. It’s exciting to be part of a relatively small company, who are so dynamic and forward thinking. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’ve had support from management and the team all the way and now I’m reaping the personal and financial benefits…and funnily enough, my Kiwi accent seems to be getting stronger. Sweet as, Bro! Caroline O'Hagan, Recruitment Consultant

I can honestly say I have made a very wise decision by joining the team at Head. It is so refreshing to join a company that speaks of both career progression and financial reward and actually delivers! Management are very approachable and there is a true commitment to a collaborative approach within the organisation.  I would recommend Head Resourcing to anyone that wants to feel truly appreciated for the hard work that they do and wants to be part of a dynamic company that values its staff.  Jonathan Blake, Recruitment Consultant

There really is a great atmosphere here at Head Medical. My background within commercial recruitment provided an excellent base which has enabled me to make the transition from Commercial to International recruitment.  Over the past two years I have enjoyed the challenges and success of a start up desk which has grown to the stage where I have employed another recruiter and I am now managing a team.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the past two years and have been given the autonomy to manage my desk and been provided with the tools and support to develop individually and progress my career.  Decisions are made as a team and you are encouraged to give your opinion and feedback.  Sharon Dodds, Senior Recruitment Consultant

Head Medical, part of Head Resourcing, is a great place to work.  Everyone is friendly and you’re made to feel very welcome from the start!  There are plenty of team nights out including a quarterly company team meeting in the pub!  Within Head Medical everyone is busy but there is plenty of support when and where required!  Given the time differences working hours can be erratic but we have the advantage of flexible working to fit in with your own work schedule.  Emma Cook, Recruitment Consultant

Since staring with Head I have been very impressed with how helpful and supportive all of my colleagues have been.  I joined the company without a background in recruitment, and people have been so supportive and patient in answering my many questions.  I think that this culture runs right through the company.  I am also very impressed at the morale within the company and staff are well recognised and rewarded for their successes. Chloe Wilkinson, Candidate Support

Working at Head Medical is..... AWESOME!  Jennifer Orr, Regulatory Consultant

Head Medical is a great place to work.  We have a fantastic team, who are all focused on supporting one another and working towards a common goal of seeing the team and company do well. There is a strong focus on creating a positive environment, where individuals are encouraged to take charge of their own workload and to develop their skills in directions relevant to their own roles, without the need for micromanagement.  There is very much an open door policy where managers and directors are always available to consult. There is a relaxed and fun working atmosphere, yet as a result of the team culture, everyone is keen to work to their optimum and to produce results.  The company encourages and supports individuals to undertake further training and professional development and over the course of the last year has supported me to gain professional licensing with the Immigration Advisors Authority in New Zealand. Since gaining this professional license, I have also been allowed to take time to undertake continuing professional development and to attend professional training and networking events. I believe that Head Medical is a fantastic and fun place to work, where no one day is the same, there are never enough hours in the day and you are given the opportunity to learn and grown with the full support of a great management team and colleagues.  Gemma Brydon, Regulatory Consultant and New Zealand Immigration Agent
