Anna Payne
Managing Director, Head Medical
Anna is an Edinburgh University psychology graduate with 11 years recruitment experience. She’s previously worked in international healthcare recruitment in the UK & Australia and in NHS Workforce Planning. Anna has travelled extensively throughout ANZ and worked in Sydney for several years before returning to Scotland and starting Head Medical in 2008. Jonathan Blake
Recruitment Consultant
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Jonathan joins Head Medical as a Recruitment Consultant, responsible for the recruitment of Consultants in all specialties for Australia.With close to 5 years of Employment Services experience, Jonathan began his recruitment career by motivating, training and case managing the unemployed before taking on the opportunity to recruit for the IT Industry, where he gained 2½ invaluable years experience. Caroline O'Hagan

Caroline joined the team here at Head Medical in January 2011 and has 8 years experience in HR in the NHS in Scotland. However, she is really pleased to now be recruiting Consultant Doctors to New Zealand, as Caroline originally hails from the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand, so has extensive local knowledge of the lifestyle and geography, which she is happy to pass on to our candidates who are looking to make the move “down under”. Jemma Blake

Jemma moved to Edinburgh from sunny and relaxed Cornwall where she joined us as Office Manager. Annie Nicholson

Annie Nicholson joined Head Medical as a Senior Recruitment Consultant in the UK division in January 2011. Nicky Gregory

Nicky is an experienced medical recruiter who joined Head in early 2009 to develop the GP division. Emma Cook

Gemma Brydon

Gemma started her career in recruitment after graduating from Northumbria University in 2004. She has spent time travelling and working overseas, including Australia & New Zealand. Gemma is responsible for supporting our doctors with their medical registration and visa applications in New Zealand and works closely with them to provide support in every aspect of the relocation process. After 5 years in a Secretarial/Office Management role Claire decided it was time for a change of direction and a fresh start in her career. Chloe Wilkinson
Team Support
Chloe joined Head Medical in May 2010 on a temporary basis until her baby was due, however she enjoyed working here so much that she has joined us on a permanent basis, starting back in September 2011. Chloe currently works in the office two days a week, providing support to our busy Registration Team.
