We work to assist both Hospital Doctors and GPs to secure permanent and fixed term appointments, ranging from training positions through to Consultant and Clinical Director / GP Partner level appointments.
Based in Edinburgh, Head Medical are the only UK based organisation able to offer a specialised international medical recruitment service for doctors seeking either fixed term or permanent appointments in Australia, New Zealand and the Gulf Region. Our UK office is staffed with experienced Recruitment, Immigration and Healthcare professionals from the UK, Australia and New Zealand, with the added benefit of providing you with ‘first - hand’ experience of living and working in these countries. We are able to offer UK and European candidates the benefits of locally based experts, taking the hassle out of recruiting internationally for overseas employers. With no time zone complications, we are on hand to provide specialist advice and support throughout the process and offer a responsive recruitment service.
In response to interest from local employers and in addition to our successful international business, we also now do some work within the UK, with particular focus on Locum GPs in the Scottish Highlands and Islands. We also from time to time work on locum vacancies for hospital doctors within the NHS.
