Staff satisfaction reaches an all time high

Staff satisfaction reaches an all time high

26 Apr 2010

Award-winning recruitment agency Head Resourcing continues to prosper with staff satisfaction at an all time high.

Despite the impact of the financial crisis on the recruitment industry, a survey of staff at the Edinburgh based firm found that job security and satisfaction were above average.

Questionnaires were completed anonymously by 30 staff and results showed that respondents were motivated, committed to work and had job satisfaction.

Over 80% of staff felt secure in their jobs, whilst over 90% felt that the organisation looks after its people well.

This research proves that Head Resourcing and global healthcare recruiter, Head Medical are committed to developing their own people with 87% of staff feeling confident that the company supports their career development.

Resourcing Consultant Lisa McGhee said:

“My move to Head Resourcing has proved to be one of the best decisions I have made. I’ve been with the company for nine months now and from day one I have experienced real job satisfaction and the opportunity to be rewarded professionally and financially. I can see that Head is a happy place to work and I feel that my job here is secure.

In a climate where our industry is perhaps suffering it is clear that we at Head are bucking the trend and experiencing high demand. Head is a place where relationships are paramount and we always try to deliver what we say we will.”

The survey also revealed that all staff believe Head Resourcing is dedicated to customer service with 100% of those surveyed stating that customers were a high priority within the organisation.

Gordon Adam, Managing Director of Head Resourcing, said:

“As a company we work very hard to ensure our staff are fully supported and encouraged. We have created an open environment where they feel able to raise ideas and issues which has resulted in low staff attrition rates. Head Resourcing aims to offer a long term, sustainable future for all our staff and this ethos is represented in these very positive survey results.”

Anna Payne, Manager of Head Medical , said:

“At Head Medical we are committed to staff development and have built a strong team that consistently delivers high levels of service to both our candidates and our clients. We aim to provide our staff with a secure working environment and I am delighted that these survey results prove we have succeeded!”

Head Resourcing was awarded REC Audited status this month when an assessor commended the high morale within the company. As only the third company in Scotland to receive this recognition and the first in its professional sector, this external endorsement reassures clients, candidates and staff that Head Resourcing continues to offer an exceptional standard of service.
