Moving to New Zealand – from a Doctors Perspective

Dr M-A Williams is a team member at the hospitalist. He has been a practicing hospitalist in Denver since 1999. He worked with the same company for 11 years until relocating for New Zealand. Dr Williams has written an article in the Hospitalist about his experience and views on relocating New Zealand and the healthcare system there.
Dr M A Williams decided that he would take a work sabbatical for a year to see how the other side of the world operates and lives deciding to take this in stunning New Zealand. The move would give the Hospitalist a insight in to the differing in delivering health care.
So in July 2010 Dr William’s and his family relocated to Ohope Beach on the North East Coast of New Zealand. The article was written six months in to the sabbatical.
