Head Awarded REC Audited Standard

Head Resourcing is delighted to be only the third company in Scotland to achieve REC Audited recognition, and the first in the professional sector.
The Edinburgh based recruitment firm, which includes global healthcare division Head Medical, was awarded the comprehensive regulatory recognition after judges praised its commitment to achieving the highest possible industry standards.
Gordon Adam, Managing Director commented:
“After achieving IIP in July last year we had planned to follow this on with the ISO9001 quality standard. However when we looked into this, we realized that ISO only proved our ability to follow a process. Although we still intend to gain the ISO recognition, it was more important for us to demonstrate to our clients and jobseeker that we adhere to both the law and best practices in our industry.
We have worked hard to ensure all staff understand and adopt these practices, and we have improved our processes so we can measure and report our compliance with the standards.
REC Audited is the best external endorsement of our business processes, which will reassure our clients and candidates that we work to the most rigorous standards in the recruitment industry.”
