Head's Charity Round Up

As part of Head Resourcing’s 10th Birthday Celebrations we embarked on a fundraising drive for two charities chosen by employees within the company; Royal Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital and Candle Lighters in Yorkshire. We held ten events in ten days ranging from a Zumbathon to our Managing Director running 100km in 10 hours and a charity football game against Hearts Legends. Through these efforts we raised over £5000 which Head Resourcing matched, meaning we were able to raise a total of £10,937.
Last week some of our charity committee presented a cheque to the Royal Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital who will be using this money to buy a ‘bike’ that will allow them to measure children’s airflow under exercise which will be of great benefit to Cystic Fibrosis suffers, amongst others. The staff at the hospital were thrilled with the money and the impact the new bike will have on the quality of life for the children who attend the department and staff are delighted to have been involved in supporting such worthy causes. This is a great achievement for all so thank you and well done to everybody for their support.
