We are looking for a Specialist Physician to join the Medical Team at this Hospital in the beautiful Marlborough region of New Zealand. In one of New Zealand’s must visit destinations, this post will allow you to enjoy a rewarding, challenging and varied post combined with a relaxed coastal lifestyle, a stones throw away from world famous national parks, many vineyards, beautiful coastal towns and within easy reach of both Wellington and Christchurch.
Situated at the top of the South Island, Marlborough has a fast growing population of approximately 44,000. The hospital is a well-equipped regional hospital supported by high quality diagnostic services and provides a comprehensive medical service for the community. The position is for a General Physician, to join a team of four Physicians and one Geriatrician. The hospital has 86 beds of which up to 34 are Medical/ Surgical inpatients. The position is 0.8 FTE with full time commitment to on call; however the hours of work may be negotiated.
Permanent applications are preferred, but 1 – 2 year locums will be considered.
